Marcelito Pomoy Gets Up-close Moment With Pres. Donald Trump During New Year’s Eve At Mar-a-lago

Manila, Phils – Singer Marcelito Pomoy had an up-close moment with U.S. President Donald Trump after his performance at The Trump Estate at Mar-a-lago, Florida for New Year’s Eve Celebration.

Marcelito Pomoy performed ‘The Prayer” by Andrea Boccelli and Celine Dion, featuring his switching voices from a soft sweet voice to a husky manly voice infront of Pres. Donald Trump and his wife, The First Lady Melania Trump.

The President, sitting next to the First Lady, towards end of Pomoy’s performance was seen impressed clapping his hands.

Pomoy’s on the other hand later approached The President for a photo op. And when Pres. Trump saw Pomoy, he immediately said “Wow,” and he stood from his seat for the photos. He even introduced Pomoy:s to the First Lady Melania Trump.

“No more words are needed,” Marcelito wrote on his instagram photos with Pres. Donald Trump and The First Lady. “The perfect kick off othe 2026,” he captioned with the fire emoji.

Pomoy was a Season 2 grand champion of Pilipinas Got Talent with the ability to sing from a female voice to male voice in high notes. He also joined in 2019 America’s Got Talent: The Champions winning 4th place.

What a great year to start for Marcelito! Definitely their close interaction was a warm response from a U.S. President.

Actress Carla Abellana tied the knot with Dr. Reginald Santos on December 27, 2025 in a garden wedding at Almond Garden, Tagaytay City.

Carla looks effortlessly radiant and immaculate wearing a simple cut of white satin gown from Rosa Clara paired with a classic embroidered long veil that highlighted the beautiful shape of her face.

The Kapuso actress referred her wedding to Dr. Reginald Santos, both 39, as: “A love story over 20 years in the making,” calling it as her “First and Last.”

“Sometimes the bad things happen to us in our lives put us directly towards the most wonderful things that will ever happen to us. Who would have known it was still going to be us in the end?,” Carla said to Dr.  Reginald in her vow.

Dr. Reginald Santos was Carla’s first boyfriend back in their highschool days. Their lives must have took differently when they pursued different paths, Carla a DLSU graduate became an actress while Reginald pursued the challenging medical profession.

“Hi, my love. You look beautiful as always. It is the same beauty that captivated me since I first laid eyes on you,” Dr. Santos said on his vow fondly recalling the memories.

Carla Abellana was once in a more than 7 years relationship with actor Tom Rodriguez. They were married in October 2021 but news of their separation broke out after 3 months of their marriage.

“Just when I stop looking for anything or anyone, life surprises me on the most unexpected way. It felt familiar,” Carla said as she went on in her vow. Dr. Reginald further says, ” You were as I remember kind, loving, selfless and God-fearing. We reconnected at a perfect time.”

Their vows continue trying to understand why things happened to them.

‘Thank you Lord, most importantly for now giving my clearest answer to all my painful whys,” Carla said.

“I was lost trying to find my way home, trying to find peace. But ultimately every single step was worth it. I’m home at last,” Reginald concluded.

Maja Salvador shares public photo of her daughter on instagram for the first time  on January 01, in a snowy winter background in Canada.

The actress who has been keeping away her daughter’s face on lots of her social media posts, finally shares one photo of her daughter.

“To our Maria, posting this one and only photo para ipakita namin sa buong nundo kung gaano kami ka proud sa pinakamalaking blessing na natanggap namin,” Maja proudly announced posting one public photo of her only child with husband Rambo Nuñez.

Maja’s daughter turning two this year on May 31 looks so adorable in her winter clothes and boots.

“Pangako ni Mama and Dada na  poprotektahan ka namin at ang privacy mo kahit anong mangyari anak,” Maja and husband vow to protect the privacy of their child but promised to let her make her choices when the times comes.

“So when the time time comes may choice ka kung paano mo gusto makilala ng mga tao,” Maja concluded her post with a heart emoji

Maja Salvador and businessman Rambo Nuñez married in a civil ceremony in Manila on February 14, 2023, before having a grand wedding ceremony at Apurva Kempenski Bali, Indonesia on July 31 of the same year. And on May 31 2024, they welcomed their first child Maria Reana Nuñez.

Indeed it looks like the parents are very protective of their child,  yet both are so excited to see her grown up!
